Your role
As a Sr Sales Manager for the Business Unit Oystershell Laboratories you are responsible for the growth and development of our existing clients by strategic recommendations on portfolio, product improvements and introduce line extension.
You also generate new business by introducing new products for other categories and innovations in close collaboration with the Innovation Lab Team and based on pitch created by Business Development-market analysis. Before presenting a product, you analyze the customer's communication & the DNA of his brand and you customize the pitch.
During Top-to-Top meetings and operational follow ups, you represent Oystershell Laboratories to strengthen the relationships and drive and execute joint business opportunities with the assigned customers leading to growth and account contribution.
As a Sr Sales Manager you contribute with the entire team to the realization of our company mission: to be the top of mind R&D partner with a long-term commitment to our customers and to empower Consumer Health brands to achieve or secure market leadership by excelling in science and design.
Area of responsibilities:
- Build long-term relationships with our customers
- Translate customer insights and dynamics into viable portfolio opportunities leading growth and contribution for both OYS and client
- Drive customer strategies & tactics
- Financial analysis and support
As a Sr Sales Manager you report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer for the Business Unit
Oystershell Laboratories.
Required skills, educational and experience requirements
You have a Master’s degree.
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive commercial career advancement required, gained in an international oriented commercial role, demonstrating strong commercial agility and entrepreneurship.
Familiarity and understanding with B2B sales is a must, where experience with branded products (OTC, Pharma or Fast Moving Consumer Goods) is a clear asset.
Proven track record in account management and or business development and interaction on all customer levels (complex matrix environment of our partners).
Financial analysis, able to understand and work with P&L statements.
In addition to experience in pricing modelling in excel and quantitative experience, you have an excellent marketing sensitivity.
Ability to analyze customer insights and dynamics and agility to develop tactical action plans with a strong drive for results.
Capacity to empathize with the needs of the customers and address unmet needs.
Solution thinking.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
