Supply Officer

Role description

As a Supply Officer, you place the orders with the contract manufacturers depending on the input from your colleagues Partner Delight Officers (PDO). You are responsible for a number of subcontractors and act as the single point of contact for Oystershell.
You follow-up on all orders on a daily basis. The contract manufacturer provides the planning and you will process all details using our ERP system. You work proactively and check delays to be able to propose solutions.

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Place orders with the contract manufacturers and act as single point of contact for Oystershell. Placing orders for packaging and raw materials for the non-full service grades and inform the manufacturers about delivery dates.
  • In the complete flow of order processing you will work together with the supply team, Partner Delight Officers (PDO) and Quality Managers.
  • Follow-up on orders: you follow-up on all orders on a daily basis. The manufacturer provides the planning weekly and you will process all details using our ERP system. You work proactively and check delays to be able to propose solutions. You inform the PDO on a weekly basis about the status of pending orders (planning meeting).
  • Processing finished orders: you are responsible for processing finished orders = stock intake and/or consumption of materials in case of non-full service products and planning for pick-up.
  • Forecast: you will provide the manufacturer with a non-binding forecast based on the input you receive from the PDO.
  • Support improvements in the Supply Chain Department

Job requirements
Education & experience
-You have a Bachelor degree or proven experience in a supply department
-You have preferably a degree in economics or high interest in economics
-Experience in a multicultural and international environment
-Experience in a Customer Service role is an asset

Technical skills
-You are fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
-Knowledge of the current Office applications.
-Experience with an ERP package is required, knowledge of Navision and Business Central is a plus
